Teachers & Chaplains Professional Development Day
The 2008 Professional Development Day saw 80 Teachers and Chaplains, representing 58 schools from around NSW, gather together for fantastic Bible teaching, singing, fellowship, encouragement and creative ideas for CRU groups.One of the highlights was Mike Raiter's talk on being greedy for God. He reminded teachers to live every day God gives them to serve Him and others for Him - to be greedy for God and nothing else.
Other highlights were the workshops on growing students for Christ, the afternoon electives, and the fellowship of singing, praying and talking together about gospel ministry at school.
We pray that all teachers and chaplains were encouraged and spurred on to continue ministering to their students and that God will use the challenges from his Word, the conversations and the ideas to further His work in all the schools in order that His name may be praised more and more.
