OVER $300,000 RAISED AT CBL!
Praise God for the wonderful success of the 2008 Crusader Business Luncheon!
The annual Crusader Business Luncheon (CBL) is Crusaders' largest fundraising event for the year. This year we were aiming to raise $240,000 from 240 people - to help grow and deepen our gospel work amongst 30,000 students. We are thrilled to announce that over $300,000 was raised!!! Praise be to God!
Full year we need to raise $500,000 in donations to allow us to provide the depth of ministry that we recognise is so important, so we are incredibly thankful that God moved people to be generous above and beyond the target we had set for the event.
To achieve this result in the current economic climate is a great reminder that we trust in a God who is not limited by rising interest rates or inflationary pressure.....but is 'able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine.' Ephesians 3:20
