Crusaders’ Events

Crusaders Business Luncheon

The annual Crusader Business Luncheon is an opportunity for supporters of Crusaders to enjoy lunch together, meet with other Christian business people, hear about the inspiring work of Crusaders and be encouraged by God’s work amongst children and teenagers in NSW and the ACT.

The funds raised will allow Crusaders to sustain its vital Gospel ministry in the following three ways:

  • Help train 25 exceptional young adults in our ‘Summit Fellows’ program – see the Summit Educational Camps division. These camps will reach over 8,500 students in 2018.
  • Assist with sourcing, training and placing over 1,100 volunteer leaders and directors on CRU Holiday Camps. In 2018, 4,000 camper places are available on CRU Camps
  • Help fund six Schools Ministry staff workers as they minister to over 100,000 students and teachers in over 211 schools across NSW and the ACT. Plus assist us to consolidate and expand our pioneering ministry in Perth, now reaching 14 schools.

The Luncheon in 2018 was held at NSW Parliament House on Friday 16th March.

Crusaders’ Business Breakfast

The Crusader Business Breakfast is a wonderful opportunity for young men and women working in the city to get together and be encouraged in their faith through sharing breakfast together and hearing how God is working through Crusaders’ ministry to reach Aussie kids for Christ.

The 2017 Breakfast was held at the QVB Tea Room on Wednesday 20th September. The guest speaker was Bay Warburton, former Chief of Staff to Mike Baird, who shared how CRU helps develop a faith that endures in young people today.

Crusaders Girls’ Night Out

The Crusader Girls’ Night Out 2014, was held at the Boronia Tea Room, Mosman, on Friday 22nd August.

Come and get pampered with a mini-manicure or massage while enjoying canapes and fellowship with other like-minded ladies. The event is going to raise funds to help train and equip young women for ministry. Our special guest speaker was Lyn Worsley, a Clinical Psychologist, registered nurse and family therapist. She is the Director of Alpha Psychology and the Resilience Centre in NSW. She also features regularly on Hope 103.2FM’s ‘Open House’ on Sunday nights.
